Course Description
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is a leading graduate school of management in Asia established under the IIM act of 2017. The IIMB offers a one-year full-time residential EMBA program for working professionals. The program’s name is Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP). EPGP provides the student’s same solid foundation in key concepts of management and its principle as a two-year MBA course. The EPGP coursework is built on the diverse and extensive work experience of the students.

The EPGP program consists of core courses and elective courses in management. The core courses help to understand the key concepts of management and refine the basic managerial skill to become a super leader tomorrow. After the completion of the course the candidate can select the elective from the list given below:
The tuition fee covers the cost of tuition, course material, computing and networking, library, alumni association, student activities, and career counseling. The International Immersion fee is indicative, the amount will be restricted to actual expenses incurred for each student towards travel, accommodation, and course fees in the foreign university, any excess or shortfall will be adjusted by way of refund/additional claim from students.

ADMISSION
The selection process for the EPGP will be conducted in three rounds. Candidates can submit their applications during any of these three rounds. First submit the application form from the following link:https://www.iimb.ac.in/epgp-2023-24 The interview will be scheduled in September, after which the selected candidate list will be declared. The candidates will get an offer from the institute to take admission. Once the admission is done the candidate can withdraw it in the time stipulated by the institute. Interviews will be held in Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Online interviews will be arranged for applicants who are outside India during the above Interview dates. Note: A candidate can apply only for a single round. Documents required for application submission are as follows:- SSC, HSC & Bachelor’s Degree Transcripts

The IIMB takes a keen interest in the placement of each student in the EPGP course. The Career Development Services office (CDS) works closely with the EPGP Student Placement Committee on the campus recruitment process which consists of the following stages:
1. Inviting companies
The CDS and the EPGP students invite different companies for taking part in the placement drive. The companies can also contact the IIMB for placement.2. Pre-placement talk:
the invitation is followed by the pre-placement talk where the company’s representative talk with the students and gives a brief of the company profile. It also includes a Q&A session from the student side to clear the doubts.3. Application submission:
the interested candidate can submit their application in the form of a detailed resume to the CDS.4. Placement Interviews:
The final placement process conducted over an extended period of time beginning in the first week of November. The final placement interview gives the company and the student an opportunity to discuss the role in detail and make the right choice.5. Offers and Acceptance:
The company can make an offer to the student after the final interview. The offer should include details of the role, location, remuneration, and other relevant terms and conditions. The acceptance of an offer is based on EPGP’s placement rules which are framed at the beginning of the academic year and may vary from year to year. Prior to the placement the CDS helps the candidates in various activities related to the interview process.
