The three-year EMBA program is spread over 12 trimesters. The program includes regular weekend classes for the first two years and a project in any industry in the last year. However, core compulsory subjects along with the electives are there for the study of the subject.

The different electives offered by the IIT KGP are Operation management, finance management, HRM, Marketing Management, Business Analytics, Economics, General Management, and Strategy.
The weekend classes consist of 15 hrs. of classroom study during weekends. The same can be implemented in real-time, hence learning by doing makes it more effective. Eligibility
The minimum eligibility for admission to the course is:- The Bachelor’s degree in B.E. or B.Tech with first-class marks or
- A first-class Master’s degree in Science, Economics, or Commerce (with mathematics at graduation).
- Three years of working experience after graduation.
ADMISSION
The selection of the candidate is based on the written test and interview at the IIT Kharagpur campus. Passing both exams is considered for admission. However, the selected candidates are required to submit an amount of ₹ 10,000/- within a stipulated period. The entrance exam for the EMBA program includes English & Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation including Analytical Writing.
