CIEM shows an upward trend in placement achievement since 2007 in terms of the number of offers, annual packages, and recruiter’s participation in the Campus placement drive. The training and placement office guides the students from the second year of the program to the placement drive. A one-year comprehensive training is provided by IBM Skills Build in different areas to enhance the skill set of the students. It deals with industry-relevant Technical Skills, Professional Skills, and Job readiness skills. Apart from this an 8 months package of aggressive pre-placement training is provided for the pre-final year and final year. It includes soft skill development, basic computers, and quantitative aptitude.
