Andhra University Centre for Distance & Online Education started operating in 1972 and is among the most prestigious distance education universities in terms of higher education. Students at this university follow the syllabus and subjects similar to regular Andhra University students. The degree awarded remains the same. The learning package includes self-learning study materials, audio-video packages, and face-to-face interactions.

Andhra University provides a 2-year online MBA, in addition to, an MBA (Banking & Financial Services), MBA (Retail Management) and MHRM. These courses are provided by the Department of Commerce and Management and are affiliated with Andhra University. The admission is accepted through national and state-level entrance examinations such as AP ICET/ AU CET/ MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ ATMA.

To facilitate easy learning the Centre of Distance and Online Education has set up Gyan Vani, a community Radio Station that serves the needs of its online students. It may be tuned to 106.4 Mhz on FM. There are currently 25 study centres that satisfy the needs of learners. The Study Centres’ key functions include the sale of applications, the dissemination of information, face-to-face interaction, the administration of exams, and so on.

Candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) in any discipline from a recognized university.
Step 1: Online Counselling with our counsellor Students should fill out the online enquiry form our counsellor will get in touch to find out why they chose the course and how it will help them to grow in their career   Step 2: Online Registration to Admission Portal After the counselling process, students can fill out the online application form and get access to My Account for further process.   Step 3: Verification of Documents by the University Admission Team Within 48 hours, the University Admission Team member would examine all of the documents provided by the Prospective Student on the admission portal and approve their eligibility for the chosen program.   Step 4: Online Program Fee Payment The eligible candidate can pay the online fee by visiting my account and clicking the payment link.   Step 5: Access to LMS for online mode of learning Once the fees are submitted the students get access to the Learning Management System (LMS). Usually, it takes two days after fee payment to activate the LMS.
